The Psychological Testing Report
Depending on the type of testing you choose, you will receive a psychological testing report that is around 8-12 pages long and includes the following sections: Reason for referral, your history related to the goals and challenges you are being assessed for, results, synthesis of all measures into a coherent picture, a list of recommendations.

Psychological Testing Report Sections:
Reason for Referral
We’ll discuss what you are looking for from testing. Do you hope to come away with new insights that can guide decisions or improve your happiness, suggestions on overcoming current and future challenges, or general clarity on the best path forward in your career or social life? We’ll put that in writing so we’re on the same page from the start. This section will always be in your own words.
Measures Chosen
We don’t choose the measures we will do without educating you first. We’ll present the different ones we think are appropriate and give you information about what they will entail and the conclusions they might bring. We’ll work together to build a battery of tests that gives you the best chance to be fully satisfied with the result (this is also the reason we do not advertise our fees – as we build the battery together, the time we will need to spend, and thus the cost will become clear).
Your Experience During Testing
The following section will provide information about how the evaluation went because this information can be informative and helpful as we look for conclusions later. For example, did you experience a sense of relief during a particular test or subsection, or did one particular question motivate you? What was the most effortless measure, and which was more challenging or created unexpected stress? All of this can be valuable data beyond the results themselves.
Test Results
We provide the results by each measure and then through a synthesis that ties it all together. You should feel that this section captures you well and provides new insights and information that help you think of new and improved paths forward. These results may also shine a light on your past in ways that give clarity and a deeper understanding of how you got here. This section is not based on a subjective view but on the tests chosen, each of which has been proven scientifically to give measurable results.
Next Steps:
Feedback Session
We will send you the psych testing report to read and then schedule a 45-60 minute feedback session where you can ask any questions you’d like, and we can explain anything that wasn’t clear. We can also add more recommendations for specific areas that you feel would be helpful.
Referrals (if desired)
This step is optional, but we’d be happy to talk to your current providers about your results so that they can best tailor your treatment to any new insights. If you don’t have a current therapist, we can refer you to one who can incorporate psychological testing report results into treatment.
